We are the professional organization for dentists in Snohomish County & South Whidbey Island in Washington State. Organized in 1951, the Society has over 380 members, who are subject to our Peer Review System and Code of Ethics. All of our members are also members of the Washington State Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
The Society has a staffed central office to provide information on current dental issues, act as a liaison to the community, and serve as a support to our member dentists.
We also provide a referral service to the public at no cost. Member dentists are in good standing with the Snohomish County Dental Society, the Washington State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. In addition, they:
1. Have agreed to go through a peer review process in the event that a patient has a question about the quality of care. Peer review is available to the public at no charge. The Peer Review Committee only mediates cases concerning member dentists.
2. Have agreed to complete continuing education every year as required for their annual license renewal.
The Snohomish County Dental Society is dedicated to furthering education, mutual support and better communication with the general public and member dentists. It is our goal to provide this web site as a useful tool for dental information.
Please call, text, or click the "Contact Us" button. We look forward to hearing from you and welcome your comments, as we strive to serve the dental profession and public.

HELP FOR HEATHER
Our dear Heather Eggenberger (https://www.colbypacificdentistry.com/) had some unexpectedly devastating life events happen earlier this summer. On Sunday, June 26, while on a family vacation, her husband Jon suffered a seizure resulting in admission to the San Diego ER, the ICU. That night, complications arose that left irreversible damage to Jon’s brain. Difficult decisions needed to be made.
During this time, Heather really needs the support of our wonderful dental community. Ways you can help:
If you are a local doc, please reach out to Dr. Beth Shaw (not to Heather - we are trying to organize without her involvement) with what days you are able to volunteer and help out at her office in Everett. She needs time to grieve and help her kids through this. firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are able to volunteer at her office, it's important to confirm with your malpractice carrier that your insurance covers you to work in another location.
2. FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Please consider helping her out financially as well. Donate to the GoFundMe page. Consider calling her office and asking what her dental supplier is - cover a few bills. Cover her software bills for a month or a year. Whatever you are able to help with is insanely needed and appreciated at this time.Funds given outside of her business will help with healthcare expenses, travel expenses, and medical bills that may accumulate while Heather and the family take the time they need to recover. It will also be used for long term items such as memorial services, child care and child counseling. (Please do not make any donations directly through CaringBridge. These funds do not go directly to Heather.)
Any concerns or questions should go through her family or close friends. Thank you, Dr. Beth Shaw
